Navy Aircraft Crashes Near Fallon Nevada This Morning

Fallon, Nevada—A fighter pilot is recovering this afternoon after the aircraft the pilot was flying crashed around 10:45 a.m. this morning. The F/A-18C Hornet went down about 10 miles southeast of Naval Air Station Fallon. The jet was on a routine training flight and was returning to the base when the pilot ejected from the aircraft. The pilot was transported to Banner Churchill Regional Medical Center.
