Kansas City, Kansas–The world’s tallest water slide remains closed on Monday while authorities investigate the death of a Kansas State Lawmakers son. Caleb Schwab 10 years old died Sunday while riding the Verrückt a waterslide that is higher than Niagara Falls. The slide drops riders at speeds up to 65 mph down a 169 foot drop. Schwab family released the following statement: “Since the day he was born, he brought abundant joy to our family and all those he came in contact with,” the family said in a statement. “As we try to mend our home with him no longer with us, we are comforted knowing he believed in our Savior Jesus, and they are forever together now. We will see him another day.” Caleb Schwab was the son of state Rep. Scott Schwab and his wife, Michele, of Olathe, Kansas.
