Long NASCAR Delays Cause 11 To Miss Inspections

Kansas City, Kansas– Long delays at NASCAR qualifying inspection forced 11 cars to miss qualifying in Kansas on Friday. The hick-up came as teams tried to make it through the Laser Inspection Station (LIS), the last of four stops in the inspection process. Some of the drivers who will start at the rear of the 40-car field in tonight’s Go Bowling 400 include hometown favorite Clint Bowyer, Jimmie Johnson, Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Kasey Kahne. Tonight’s Race will be at 7:30 p.m. ET, FS1, MRN, SiriusXM.
