Shooting Critically Injures 16-Year-Old In Nashville

Nashville, Tennessee–Detectives with the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department have arrested Josh Raines, 18 after a shooting that critically injured a 16-year-old outside Save-A-Trip Market on Saturday. Raines was at a gas pump when he and a teen male got into a verbal argument. Raines pulled out a handgun from his waistband shot the teen twice. The teen was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he is listed in serious but stable condition. Raines has been being charged with attempted criminal homicide, gun possession in the commission of a dangerous felony, vehicle theft and is being held in lieu of $380,000 bond.
